How to Highlight & Share the Best Moments from Podcasts
Bookmark best parts of podcasts live the life of a legend and get nostalgic
This week we will talk about an iOS app that will enhance your Podcast experience and a podcast that will take you on a life journey of a famous personality.
1. Airr
With the rise of podcasts, we are seeing a new category of apps being developed to enhance your podcast experience and one such app is Airr.
Airr lets you highlight and share the best moments from a podcast episode. I find it really useful when you are on the go and want to bookmark a certain section of the podcast — a quote, an interesting conversation that resonated with you. You can just highlight it using airr and then whenever you want to refer it back you can find it in your airr quotes library with the transcript.
So go ahead and download the app and start highlighting. You never know, when you need to refer back to your highlights to recall a potential unicorn startup they were talking about on Equity Monday.
2. Imagined Life
Continuing on our podcast theme, I recently started listening to a podcast named Imagined Life from Wondery.
In each episode, they take you through the journey of an unknown person, few defining moments in their lives before they were famous. Though out the episode you don’t know who this person is. It only gets revealed at the end.
It’s a totally different approach to storytelling. I have listened to a couple of episodes and recommend it to anyone who likes reading biographies of famous personalities.
Let me know in the comments/response section how many of these unknown personalities were you able to identify before the reveal.
3. WeCrashed
This one is also from Wondery. WeCrashed is a 6 part series on the rise and fall of WeWork.
In the series, they talk about how WeWork started, grew, became the darling of venture capital firms, and eventually crashed under the big ego of his founder Adam Neumann to change the world.
I highly recommend this podcast for people who are interested in startups and entrepreneurship.
