You finally did it — you’re selling your product or service online! You sent out a few emails driving traffic to your sales letter and…crickets. People just aren’t biting as you’d hoped. Don’t despair; all is not lost.

I’ll show you the exact steps you can take to improve your sales letter conversation rates in a minute. I’ve learned this process by working as a copywriter on 6 and 7-figure program launches and investing thousands in education to advance my skills, most notably Mike Shreeve’s copywriting programs. First, a few important notes:

1. Make these modifications to your sales letter in order — tweak the offer first, then the headline, then scarcity, then proof. Ideally, you would also run a split test after every modification to ensure it’s performing better.

2. Remember that your sales letter conversion rate will most likely improve by small increments​, not landslides. Tweaking the headline probably won’t get you significant results, but if you have the time and dedication, then making all of the following tweaks together can dramatically improve your conversion rate.
