When we think about personal development, several ideas come to mind on what that means and how to embark on this journey. The most common tools many of us have used were self-help books, motivational videos, Ted talks, and so on.

Once in a while however we have those who get a lot of their personal development and growth in unlikely places and experiences. Things like reading fiction or watching movies that have nothing to do with personal development.

I have also found that this route is as effective as, if not more than just reading books and watching motivational videos, especially when you are far into your personal development journey and all that advice has now become cliche. The other is not relevant for this article since it seems to be a bit polarising but I will make an article for it soon.

Today, however, I will discuss how YouTube has served as a tool for me to progress further in my personal development journey and how you can also use it to progress further in your personal development and growth journey.

The Requirements
