I Am More Than You See

A poem of self-discovery and acceptance.

A person looking through a shard of mirror with their eye and hat reflected.

Staring into the mirror,
All its light is divine.
Glistening light rays sparkle.
But the image is not me.

Who am I?
Bits and pieces of bone,
A flesh sack with blood that flows.
Nothing but a body walking through life.
