I hate Home Alone Part-1..? No, All..!
Let me explain why
I hate Home Alone Part-1. No, All..! All parts of the series. Especially around the X-mas season. Why? Let me explain it to you..
This X-mas season, I will be all by myself — Alone! Exactly like Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) in the Home Alone Part-1 movie. Caught inside my house, lone. Unfortunate? Not really!
The Similar Ones?
We both have similarities like— it’s Winter, it’s near X-mas, it’s the holiday season — like in the movie, and we both are caught in the house alone! With no one else in the house.
And the ‘Prime’ similarity is — we both are away from the family!! (*)

..for those who are kind and worried about me!🙂 Next weekend I’ll be with my family and X-mas is not our family festival / traditional festival.🙂 Apologies if you feel sad or if I made you — feel sorry for me.🙏

The Dissimilar ones?
But we both have our own dissimilarities too. We both got caught— he for being naughty. Me? Pretty sure, I’m not.🙂 He made a mess — of his house, of course — before and after being alone. Please say you agree with me.🙂 His house was on fire (or at least in his mind) and I will just say — was about to be robbed by those burglars. Touchwood!
I wish and wish for this..! No-one’s in a plan or plotting to rob mine unless someone is.. or are..!

Another dissimilarity is — ‘this very fact that I enjoy holidaying with my loved one's (Does Kevin too? 🙂 Okay, then why he felt very happy in the beginning? ) and that this week of the year is not festive for us.

The point is clear to everyone! Now you can let the story flow.., instead of boring them. Already you’re in great debt, they are still reading giving their time. And they are very kind too. Back to work L!🙂
And the 'Prime' dissimilarity is— I’m not looking to mess my house, as I know — at the end of the day, it’s me who has to clean it and I am terrible in that!
I hardly - manage to clean the house. Do it well? Off the limits, I must agree. So my ‘ground rule’?
“Don’t mess around. Keep it clean. If not clean, at least to the extent possible!”
Fair enough right?
Don’t agree? Okay. We have to live with it. After all, everyone can’t have all their wishes fulfilled all the time, you know..! I mean, I want a spic and span house every day, whenever I just wish to clean the house inside my mind. But won’t clean it physically outside my mind!
So..

Scene-2
(If this is scene-2, where is scene-1 L, Where is it ?!! Apologies for the not-great story-building capabilities of L!)
This season, my nephew and niece planned for a holiday at my home, as usual, they plan any other time. But I know — why they are highly excited, unlike every other time. Surely, they are excited about the bedtime stories we build every night (like in the movie ‘Bedtime Stories).
But this is X-mas season! OMG!! It surely has everything to blame Kevin. Yes, it is! If not him — who else would it be?
Popping out from the Telly box and reminding my niece and nephew — to be super active with their crazy ideas like Kevin and making the house a mess! It doesn’t matter what age Kevin is and what age these kids are, they just try to match his acts. Just pick from the movie.
The Movie Storyline?
The plot.. .. of the Home Alone Part-1 movie is the story of Kevin an eight years troublemaking boy. He gets left alone at home accidentally by his family during Christmas Vacation. His plots to protect the house from a pair of burglars Harry and Marv. Kevin creates traps in the house to stop the burglar's attempts to succeed in the robbery of his house.
The storyline. The characters! The traps were made by Kevin to get rid of the burglars!
Oh Boy! The Little Boy!
I love all of them, yet I can’t deny — I hate Home Alone Part-1, no All! All parts of the series, indeed. Especially around the X-mas season when kids get excited like this.
What else scares me?
“I’m going out, could you please take care of my kids!”
A friendly request from the neighbor. Can’t agree, can’t even deny! — 1
“I want to come to your house!”
A plea from the nephew. Of course, can’t deny it, yet can’t agree. — 2
Where does it come from??
“I’m going out, could you please take care of my kids!”-It’s not just a friendly request from the neighbor. It comes with a Home Alone movie re-creation by those kids. Those enthusiastic kids, who desire to recreate the scenes of the traps Kevin creates. And Christmas season is what energizes them and those messy acts finding a way into their tiny little naughty minds.
It all Ends this way!!
Like this. The most civilized (or look-a-like) kids look good till their parents leave and then turn into monsters! ( Ya, you heard it!)🙂
How could they spoil the couch and the well-made bed, mess the floor with chalks, throw water on the sit-out next to the garden area! Why do they bring soil from the flower pots and throw it inside the living room!🤯 Whatever may be the plea, it all ends this way!!
Why it starts, in the first place?
As I couldn’t say no — I say yes! And the next events find their way fast! The neighbor thanked me, rushing herself to book the cab, and gives instructions and a little drill about the kids and leaves.
How does it begin??
The first hour goes easy, damn!!
Cute little smiles of her kids, 6 years elder one and 4 years younger one. Few small talks on their names, about their mom and dad, their grandparents, and their house.
After that, they get bored, honestly me too! Then we go to their school talk, their friends and fav’ food. We could pass an hour and then they start it!!
To Conclude..
Technically speaking a huge fan of the ‘Home Alone series and a lover of the cute 8-year-old Kevin, I hate both during this Christmas season. And I believe you will agree with me.
