I Haven’t Been Writing

But I’ve Still Been Creating

I got inspiration from Niharikaa Kaur Sodhi’s post to write this after experiencing my own down turn in writing and posting on Medium.

Last year was my first full calendar year on Medium and for the most part I was fairly consistent against the standards I set for myself.

Until the last few months.

My standards dropped. Posting on Medium hasn’t been a priority.

I’m not going to scorn myself though. It’s with good reason I’ve not stuck to regular posting schedule (more details later).

What I can say about this year though is I’ve experienced exponential growth.

From running a marathon to becoming Head of Client Success inside one of the best online coaching service in Scotland.

The latter has meant greater responsibilities I gladly took on. The amount of knowledge and experience I’ve gained already has been huge. I’ve been learn how people operate, what their motivations are and what stops them from becoming a better version of themselves.

It boils down to priorities. People tend to not know how to prioritize.

Work and business become all consuming. Families take over. What’s left is very little time for yourself.
