I Learned The Crucial Skill Most Unsuccessful Writers Lack
Having this skill will make you successful even if you aren’t the best writer
When I was in high school, I loved writing poems.
My mother passed away when I was 14 years old, and a way to cope with the loss was creative writing, and poems were my way.
At the University, I took a creative writing class. I never thought about business, having a business, or writing about business.
I was in the creative lane and I loved it.
Then I had my twins and received a year off for maternity (in Canada).
My husband and I were living with my in-laws, and I was fortunate for the help. I was only responsible for the twins’ well-being and pumping.
This gave me a lot of thinking time.
Thinking while I pumped, while I went for hour-long stroller walks, thinking while I did the dishes, or while my twins started solid foods.
And, after my maternity came to a close, I needed to find a way to contribute to our finances. We were saving a boatload of money living with the in-laws but they wanted us out eventually.
