I Love You To The Extent That You Love Yourself
You cannot love someone who does not love themselves.
Noble it may be, to try and save someone from a cold dark abyss of self-hatred and self-pity; in all honesty, doing something like this NOT only enables their self-defeating thoughts — but it also brings you down into that dark, cold abyss with them.
