I was tired of feeling lethargic all the time. I knew it was my body & lifestyle habits that required a change.

  • I didn’t diet or follow any health expert.
  • I didn’t skip my meals
  • I didn’t exercise for more than 30 mins a day

After doing these tiny changes, I saw drastic changes in just 15 days. I had better:

  • Thoughts
  • Body
  • State of mind

Threw away the poison

I had a huge packet of potato chips with me and was scrolling on YouTube to binge-watch something interesting.

That’s when I went on YouTube & stumbled upon the Diary Of A CEO’s Channel.

And, this particular video changed my food habits

You know processed foods, ice cream, and packaged beverages are harmful to your system. However, you still chose to eat them and satisfy your cravings.

That’s where you go wrong.

I replaced:

  • processed food
  • Ice creams & dairy
  • Packaged beverages
  • Bread, noodles, pasta

With,

  • Home-cooked meals
  • More fibrous & protein-rich foods
  • Fresh fruits & vegetables
  • Seeds & nuts
  • Water.

Also, I’m vegetarian.

And, did you know sugar is POISON for your body?

It is the biggest cause of type 2 diabetes and type 3 diabetes a.k.a. Alzheimer’s disease.

Plus, if you want to look 60 in your 30s, please knock yourself out with sugar :)

I anyways hate sugary and sweet foods, but after watching this video, I’m not even going to touch them.

Results?

  • More energy
  • Feel less sleepy throughout the day
  • Can write & think more than usual
  • No cravings for sweet foods whatsoever

Stopped consuming content

Autocorrect: Stopped consuming ‘drama’

The last thing you need in your life is drama.

(No, I didn’t (and would never) watch Big Boss.)

I was consuming such content on an everyday basis:

  • Scrolling Twitter and checking out trending hashtags
  • Watching baseless content, exaggerated news, challenge videos, pointless vlogs on YouTube
  • Constantly checking my phone to see toxic content

My brain was habituated and wired to searching & watching such useless content on social media.

I was guilty. My eyes were crying for help. My brain was blasting. And my soul felt horrible.

This is what social media does to you!

What I did do instead?

  • Started creating content that serves a purpose and provides value.
  • Started writing again (more than ever before) on Medium, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Using social media for my benefit and not destruction
  • Consuming content by great writers and listening to amazing life-changing podcasts.

I, now, have a goal and purpose in life.

And, it definitely doesn’t include — torturing my body and soul.

Got into spiritual practices

I’ve said this a million times and will say it again,

Start your spiritual journey now!

Don’t listen to the crowd. Please start if you honestly want to live a calm & peaceful life.

Being a part of the Brahma Kumaris family was the best decision I’ve ever made. But, there are many other great spiritual leaders to guide you into spiritual living:

  • Shri Shri Ravi Shankar Ji
  • Sadhguru Ji (Isha Foundation)

You can also listen to great personalities and learn more about spiritual living. These are a few people I love listening to:

  • H G Amogh Lila Prabhu
  • H G Amrendra Prabhu
  • H G Radheshyam Prabhu
  • H H Radhanath Swami Maharaj
  • B K Shivani Sister

Instead of scrolling through stupid content, maybe try soaking in some spiritual knowledge.

Stress less, work more

Another rule:

Stress less, work more

You’re only mistreating your body and making it a breeding ground for deadly diseases by stressing.

Instead of stressing about what to wear, what to eat, and what to apply to my skin, work more. Your clothes and skincare products won’t bring food to your table.

Stressing won’t feed your family; finding a solution will.

And, when I don’t see a solution, I keep going & work harder. This helps me solve (or come up with a solution) some way or the other.

Weird, I know.

But, this is what works for me. You do what works for you minus the stress.

LAST

I know a few points might sound obvious.

But my question is,

Do you even do any one of these religiously and sincerely?

You know the answer :)

Stop treating your body like a dustbin and putting crap into it.

Also, my current routine is a game-changer. I’ll talk about it in my upcoming articles. Follow me and stay updated!

See you!
