I’m a current software engineer at Google who has been writing content on LinkedIn for 3+ years. I finally reached 100,000 followers and here’s how much I make from it. Ranking from least to most profitable, here are the income streams I build using LinkedIn.
Affiliate Links ($1,500)
Affiliate links are links where certain companies give me a commission for promoting their products. I’m primarily an affiliate for 3 companies: Amazon, ByteByteGo, and Educative.
Educative
Educative is the toughest affiliate commission revenue stream for me. While I believe in the quality of the product, I believe the steep price drives customers away and tends to make promoting the product harder to sell.
I initially tried to promote this on LinkedIn but the effort became really difficult.
