Taking a cold shower every morning is a part of my 30-day challenge to develop small, sustainable, healthy, and productive habits.
I have completed many 30-day challenges, including cold showers for a few months/years.
I live on an Island in Canada, a cold country, as you may know. I am a huge fan of the outdoors, so I chose to live in the mountains, a tiny hill station that is great for hiking.
I’m in my mid-30s, and I’ve been hearing stories about the benefits of cold showers for decades.
When I first decided to try cold showers, I was full of doubts.
What am I doing?
Why would anyone willingly do this torture?
But I’d heard so much about the benefits. I was curious.
The idea was simple — take a cold shower every day for 30 days and see what happens.
I expected the icy water to be shocking, but what I didn’t expect was how much it would teach me.
