If No One Reads What You Write, Are You Still A Writer?
What if no one reads your power of words or buys your book, do you consider yourself a writer?
The images above are the ebooks for writers I support. The ones below are a few of the hard copies in my library. Most of these writers don’t return the support they got from me. That doesn’t stop me.
Writers write. They need readers to read their stories, buy their books, and share their stories with our world in support. I give the support I want. If I don’t understand what you write, I find something in your power of words to connect with as I learn from everyone. We as writers, need to support each other.
Many post videos on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, FaceBook, Twitter, and other social media sites for promotional/marketing and financial reasons. They need viewers to view their videos and support them so they can achieve the level of success they want.
Farmers plant their crops and when it’s ready to be reaped, they need human support in many areas to get the produce to you. Humans need the support of each other in all areas of our lives like the body needs food, water, and air. Plants give back to us when we water them. That's their way of saying thank you. Why is it so hard for some humans to give back the kindness they gladly accept?
As an editor for several publications on Medium, I am shocked when I edit and publish many writers choose not to support their fellow writers.
Medium only pays for Read, so you don't get paid if no one reads your power of words.
If no one buys your book and doesn’t read what you write, are you still an author?
Someone said some writers don’t post any support for writers below their articles because they fear it will hinder their chances of being boosted.
