In Defence of Trolls
Not popular, I know, but sometimes they have a point
I’m coming to the end of another series of the reality show ‘Married at First Sight UK’. If you aren’t familiar with the show, the premise is that two sets of single people are paired up by so-called ‘experts’, go through a marriage and live together for a few months.
It was an entertaining social experiment for a few years but now, like most others, it has become a cesspool, attracting fame-hungry wannabes who think they can find a shortcut to fame the more extreme their behaviour is.
Naturally, with social media all over shows like this, there are comments in abundance every time one of these desperate nobodies opens their mouth.
For me , one of the highlights of shows like this is viewing the hilarious comments that appear on X.
We are warned that posting negative comments about these people could have an adverse effect on their mental health.
I’m sure it could.
And there’s a way to avoid your mental health being affected.
Don’t go on this type of show.
Simple.
From my point of view, if you put your head above the parapet on a show like this, expect to get shot at.
