ILLUMINATION

Business owner standing the doorway of his closing down shop waving with a look of sadness with a loving smile

I wrote this poem after having watched a video of a group of peaceful marching protestors getting harassed on the streets by onlookers. As always I am grateful for your reading and or listening to my scrawls

Inalienable

When they complete your sentences
Before you make a sound
When the slant bars your entrances
Stealing your stand of ground
This is the place
That hope isn’t found
