One of the reasons I love creating content is the sense of freedom it gives me, which comes with a feeling of relief, in a world which feels increasingly restrictive for me as I’ve gotten older.

I’m sure if you audited your day-to-day life you’d notice significant amounts of time spent in a “false” state: that is, operating from a space of inauthenticity, and a lack of true expression.

Yes, you may spend your day doing your day job and speaking to others, but how much of that is coming from your true, authentic self, and how much is filtered through a mask of what you think you ought to be saying, potentially restricted by the environment you’re in?

For example, this blog and talking to you is the space I have to truly speak my mind.

I have long-term wants and desires to express that would conflict with the people around me if I spoke them out loud, which leads me to hide them.

For example, I don’t think my work would take too kindly to me talking about my desire to eventually coach others on personal growth and to leave my job.

I’ve also been met with resistance when I’ve chatted to others about my passions. They don’t seem to “get” it and seem to operate on a…
