On Saturday evening, my family and I went to the Cinemark movie theater and watched Inside Out 2. This was at the request of my teenage daughter.

I never saw the first Inside Out which I’ll watch later but I was very impressed by this movie. It was fun and entertaining. The movie is a family-friendly PG movie.

While watching the movie, it reminded me of my daughter who is the same age as the main character Riley voiced by Kensington Tallman.

Riley goes through puberty and experiences the normal teenage changes — emotions, feelings, and mood swings.

Additionally, Riley played ice hockey for her middle school and was invited to a camp run by the high school. Riley is put in a difficult situation as she has to choose between her two friends, Bree (voiced by Sumayyah Nuriddin-Green), and Grace (voiced by Grace Lu), or making friends with the high school ice hockey players.

I thought the movie was a good rebound for Disney after some disappointing films including The Haunted Mansion and Wish.

Inside Out 2 is expected to make $90 million after the second weekend.
