Interim balance after two years of Intermittent Fasting
What do my blood parameters say?
Starting point
Over the last few years, I have noticed that I have gained a little weight every year. Although I did not change my diet and lifestyle, a little weight was added every year. Since I didn’t want to weigh 100 kilograms when I started my retirement, I was looking for a solution to stop the weight gain.
Intermittent Fasting
But I wanted to do something sustainable, something I could use over a long period of time. Since humans in general and I, in particular, are creatures of habit, the solution had to be connected without major changes. I was afraid that a solution that would turn my life upside down and change it dramatically would not be able to be sustained by me for a long time.
Then I read more and more reports about Intermittent Fasting. Since I love to eat breakfast and my main meal has always been lunch, the 16:8 Intermittent Fasting, which I do without dinner, seemed made for me.
So I started Intermittent Fasting in September 2019. You can read about my experiences in the first nine months here:
