Purpose of the Story

In this story, I want to share with you an interview that I conducted with Maïa Belart who is a new writer on ILLUMINATION but rapidly became popular.

Maïa is one of the youngest writers however her content is mature. I am inspired by the intricate style, clarity, and colorful worlds in Maïa’s stories. What I also like about Maïa is that she actively engages in stories of other writers. Therefore, she gained visibility so quickly and became popular.

Tell us a bit about your background, Maïa.

I’m a French, 18 years old girl, who would like to study languages and, after that, if she (me) has the level, study music at the conservatoire. I’m a very bad violinist who started at the age of 13, didn’t practice for 3–4 years, and only began practicing one year ago. But I’m improving.

Why do you write on Medium?
