Dr Michael Heng has more than 30 years of senior management experience with local and foreign multinational corporations in the manufacturing and service sectors of industry, including the Board of Directors of a major insurance company. He has consulted for many large local and multinational corporations.
Internationally, he was the International HRM Expert for the International Labour Organization (ILO), a United Nations agency, and consulted with the Governments of China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong for various high-level consulting projects.
Formerly a tenured Associate Professor at Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University (NTU), he pioneered the Reality-Learning andragogical approach in HRM Course using the Blue Ocean Strategy as the experiential learning platform. He also taught the MBA program at the NTU Nanyang Business School.
