Don’t judge a book by its cover.

It’s the title; It’s the title.

Only a fool permits the letter of the law to override the spirit in the heart. Do not let a piece of paper stand in the way of true love and headlines.

Rod Stewart

Your title is perfect, or so you think, so why is my article not getting read?

When you study writing, you’re told it’s all about the title if you’re going to be read.

You’re advised to spend most of your effort on the title. Some go as far as to tell you to write 10–20 or more titles to find the right one.

How do you know it’s the right one?

Some will advise you to use a title analyzer to test them. Others say you should test the title in real life. So as a beginner, you struggle to find the right one.

What part are you missing?

The truth is there’s more to it than just the title.

You took their advice and checked the title with the headline analyzer, it’s rated high. You tried to test it with a real-time test. All looks good, and publish it.

And you anxiously wait to see the results.
