I used to be a strictly physical copy books-only book snob. Then, I moved on to using audiobooks for non-fiction books, such as self-improvement, biographies, or other non-fiction topics.
For some reason, I had an aversion to using audiobooks for fiction or “fun” reading. It felt like cheating somehow.
I finally started listening to books of all genres, including fiction, and I am never looking back. I still read physical copies and/or Kindle books.
Even though there is nothing like holding a book in my hands and using my eyes and brain to process the words, audiobooks are pure perfection when I am working around the house or driving back and forth to school or work.
