Is it Finished?
She is excited about receiving her handcrafted glass dish in the mail which she and my coworkers created while on an art tour around Shiga prefecture.
We inspect the odd shaped partially stretched bubble and I look at the ceiling light through it as if it were a kaleidoscope to elicit commendable features.
“This is beautiful Love — I’m so glad you could do this with friends!”
“Thank you Babe!” She says before detailing the process and experience.
“I’m an artist too!”
I say as handing her the packaged dried clay and acrylic coated piece recently made as an example piece for a group of 15 aspiring six year old potters.
“Is it finished?” She replies, with a squint while turning it over in her hands.
