Is the Moon Even There?

— the nature we live in

The moon is dancing around
Beguiled into singing
Plummeting towards the ground
To a world that’s brimming

Enchanted by the luminescence
Perfidious yet alluring
Deafening sounds of omnipresence
Torturing yet reassuring

In the chaos, it finds refuge
Fleeting yet salacious
Bells ring for the prelude
Of doom truly capacious

Dreaming in hope and ignorance
Renders all knowledge lost in a trance
