It is enough.
(I wrote this one month before my first daughter was born. It kinda flowed out. Once it hit the page, I remember feeling an influx of peace about my future fatherhood.)
If you can help just one in a million,
It is enough.
If your castle is just a small roof over your head,
It is enough.
If life grants you just one more day,
It is enough.
If you see just one sunrise,
It is enough.
If you forgive an injustice,
It is enough.
If you learn a small lesson after making a big mistake,
It is enough.
If a swift judgment is replaced with a little mercy,
It is enough.
If you only have a small candle, light it.
It is enough.
If laughter waits patiently behind your tears,
It is enough.
If you can’t forgive yourself, forgive another.
It is enough.
If you can seek justice without vengeance,
It is enough.
If you lose faith, keep searching.
It is enough.
If you can’t find an answer, seek more questions.
It is enough.
If you can’t love another, begin with yourself.
It is enough.
