Maintaining momentum is hard.

Most people can go hard and stay focused for at least a few weeks at a time. Some can push it further to a few months.

But eventually, that momentum fades and we slow down.

It’s not that we lose interest or that we’re lazy. No, it’s because pushing hard to achieve your goals is testing.

It takes physical, mental, and emotional stamina.

It takes energy, grit, and determination.

And there is only so much your body can take before it needs a rest.

Yes, you can try to push through. Ignore the signals, keep grinding.

But that only leads to total burnout.

Which can be a nightmare to return from.

Instead, the best approach when faced with a dip in momentum is to rest up.

Take a day, maybe two. Take a week if you have to.

But listen to what your body is saying and act accordingly.

That way, when you experience a lull on your journey it doesn’t kill your dreams completely.

Thanks for reading.
