It’s Okay To Be White
There was a hashtag that was #itsokaytobewhite and in this hashtag people were labeled as racist by other twitter users because they felt comfortable in their skin.
This isn’t okay. We’ve already established that the oppression that slaves felt long ago wasn’t cool. But, now that we are being labeled racist for oppression is actually a form of racism to a new generation of people. It’s not okay.
