Jill strode down the corridor, tapped on the door marked ‘Jack Frost’, waited for his reply, and stepped into her boss’s office.

“Ah, Miss Chill, prompt as ever. Do take a seat.”

“What’s this all about, sir? You sounded quite upset on the intercom.”

“I have bad news for everyone. As my deputy, I thought you should be the first to know.”
