Joe Rogan hosts the world’s biggest podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. He has millions of listeners worldwide. I’m also one of the regular listeners of his podcast.

Joe says a lot of things on his show that make you think. He is an excellent host who has great conversations with his guests and, at the same time, sends valuable messages to his listeners.

I recently listened to a clip from his podcast, and what he said has been stuck in my mind ever since.

Joe says,

“Find some difficult sh*t to do because that gets away a lot of the anxiety that you carry around in your body. Difficult things make regular life less difficult. That sounds so simplistic, but particularly physically difficult things.”

“When you do things that are physically difficult, the strain of making yourself do those things is very valuable. It’s not just valuable in terms of health and the way you look. But it’s also valuable for your mind. Maybe even more so.”

Studies have shown that doing difficult things have many benefits. As Joe says, it not only helps you physically; but also makes you mentally strong.
