She isn’t loud —

She only has an opinion.

Again, she isn’t loud —

She isn’t fighting —

She only has an opinion.

Then why does she get on your nerves?

And why does she unsettle you?

I’m saying she only has an opinion —

Just like you and me?!

She is not trouble,

She is not ill-mannered,

She isn’t a thorn in the flesh

Or say, a bone of contention.

She ain’t playing over-smart,

She isn’t seeking your attention.

She only has an opinion,

Did I forget to mention?

She wants to be heard —

May be

Or maybe not.

She speaks anyways,

You welcome it or not.

She isn’t right,

She isn’t wrong.

Then why are you disappointed?

Or let me reframe it — ‘offended’?

She’s just like you and everyone else —

She thinks and therefore,

She has an opinion.

So, pick up a drink,

Relax your glutes.

I’m saying it again —

It’s just an opinion.

It’s just her opinion.
