Ketamine Failed Me
An old drug with promises it can’t keep
I was so excited when I read the scientific psychobabble on ketamine, aka Special K, an anesthetic mainly used by veterinarians for many years and a drug of choice for hippie-types in the 1960s. I had even done research on another new use for it for people suffering from chronic neuropathic pain.
