Previous individual scientific concepts were mined by ingenious entrepreneurs and combined to create commercial products that revolutionized daily life for generations following their inventions. Kick The Bucket

A friend of mine spoke fondly of her visits out in the country to see her grandma. She loved these trips because of the change in scenery from her urban lifestyle. They happened in the late 1970s to early 1980s. During her visits, she had to answer the call of nature. This is where her experience diverged greatly from her home life because Grandma didn’t have indoor plumbing. My friend had to go to the “outhouse”. For those younger than 30 years old, this facility is like a porta-potty situated a few yards from a residence. Indoor plumbing didn’t become common for homes of average citizens until bathrooms with running water were included in house plans by default beginning in the 1960s.
