If you are like me, reading about all the 20-something-year-olds making the big dough writing online, selling digital products (or their bath water) online, it’s hard not to feel the sting of comparison. Are you where you wanted to be at this stage in your life?

I am not.

Recently I watched the JRE podcast, the episode with Jimmy Carr. Great, well spoken and mannered comedian. He said something that resonated with me. He keeps a list of people who found success later in life. Just to remind him, that it is only about competing with yourself from yesterday, rather than with everyone else.

Yes, life out there is a competition. Well, economy is. But you know what I mean, don’t you? Don’t be that nag!

Anyways, here’s a very interesting list of notable people who found success in the later stages of their life. May it console you like it consoled me.
