Lit From Within

Uncommon poetic form — Dizain

the image shows that of a very dark skinned young woman with skin aglow. she is wearing a deep red lipstick and gold eye shadow; her eyes are closed and her hair is braided in large pigtails. a yellow lemon is wedged between her jaw and shoulder which provides for great contrast. The background of the image is teal blue. she looks absolutely beautiful

She appeared lit from within — all aglow
An intriguing sheen covered her dark skin
The curious asked, they wanted to know
On every comment, she said with a grin
New makeup, new blush, I coloured it in
Perhaps in the water, maybe less stress
No answer she gave them put it to rest
She must have unearthed some new chemistry
Sure reason for this mysteriousness
Alignment with Source — tools of sorcery

Author’s note:-
The dizain 10 lines, 10 syllables per line, rhyming pattern ababbccdcd.
Everybody is doing the dizain, where’s yours?

Change of Clothes

the image is that of a woman leaning out of her apartment window, hanging freshly washed clothes on a line. The outside of the building looks poorly maintained and there is a lone black dog in the street below.
