Day after day there is a battle with a swarm of tasks to do; clean the house; do laundry; make breakfast; go to work; do some writing; take a dump and many others.

Yet here we are, yes YOU too.

We’re stuck in between two tasks or just stuck on one task in particular, there’s no moving at this point. Perhaps you’re playing video games, reading a book, or just sitting there thinking, etc… Meanwhile, over in the corner is that 10-page essay you have to start; the dirty dishes from your BBQ lunch; or maybe that knitting project that you “thought” was really fun…

It is within my unofficially qualified jurisdiction to diagnose you with a severe/mild/inconsistent/usual case of procrastination.

To lay out a comfortable and general definition of procrastination, here’s one of the top results you get when typing it into Google search:

“Procrastination is the act of delaying or postponing a task or set of tasks. So, whether you refer to it as procrastination or akrasia or something else, it is the force that prevents you from following through on what you set out to do.”
