Glad you’re my Dad

A poem for my Father

I know I don’t say it often,
but dad you are my favourite person.

Your smile makes my day,
With you, I feel safe.

I know I can never repay,
the love and care you’ve bestowed upon me.

You have sacrificed a lot for mom, me and bro,
I can’t fathom how you live so selflessly.

You are my biggest fan, my biggest support,
how did I get so lucky?

I know your parents would be proud,
their little boy grew up to be a loving father.

I know I don’t say it often,
but dad you are my favourite person.

Best Mom In The World

A poem for my Mother

I say it every day and I will continue to say it,
Mom, I love you!
You’re dearer to me,
than a thousand triumphs.

You are the cutest,
most beautiful and,
the best mom on earth,
I love you a ton.

I always think about you,
in times both good and bad,
because I know you are,
always there for me.

You’re a wise, independent woman,
Through you, I learned to be,
strong in the toughest of times and,
kind to everybody.

A long time ago,
you were a little girl who lost,
her mother and her will to live,
you made a thousand sacrifices,

and worked very hard for everything,
I know your parents are proud of you,
Thanks for being,
the best mom in the world!
