Make Time for Your Soul

Every day we are busy with our routines and don’t have any time to just be alone. We wake up in the morning, have our breakfast, go to shower, go to our office to work, go to the gym after work, back home in the evening, have our dinner, do other work on our laptops, go to sleep, and we do all of that routines in the next day again and again. We do those activities every day.

It is not a bad routine, of course. But if we do it every day, someday we will feel overwhelmed because we are too busy and don’t have time to take a rest. I mean take a rest for our mental or emotions. If it happens for a long time, it can cause something bad in our emotions. We can become angry easily, offended easily, feel unhappy, or sometimes we can lose our smile without realizing it.

Our daily routines are full of physical activities and we often ignore our mental conditions. We can sleep to reenergize our physical energy but it can’t reenergize or fulfill our mental emotions or souls.

I would like to recommend you spare your time, whether in the morning before you start your day or in the evening after work, to just sit down, take a rest for your soul, and talk to yourself. Take a deep breath, exhale slowly, and feel the atmosphere of that moment. Maybe there are birds chirping, so enjoy it. Maybe there is nothing but silence, so try to enjoy that too. Or maybe you are back home in the afternoon, try to relax by sitting in front of your house and enjoying the sunset, clear sky, and flying birds while enjoying your favorite drink.

Take your time and try it every day. Your emotions will be calmer and you will feel the peace.
