Management Bug
A customer is a person who buys goods or a service. (1) A Lack of Customers will translate to a company or institution not having people who buy and receive their goods or services.
There isn’t a business that could survive without customers. It’s imperative not just to retain existing customers but attract new ones, too. (2)
Lack of customers is a phenomenon that can affect not only start-ups but also mature companies. For start-ups, lack of customers is said to be the main cause of their death. For mature organizations, it means staying innovative and meeting the needs of customers to stay ahead. At the core of the existence of every organization are the customers and the workers. Every smart business leader must be clear about the deliberate action they must take to make existing customers stay and bring others with them. (3)
There could be many reasons for the lack of customers:
- Your Product or Service Failed to Meet Expectations;
- You didn’t provide a positive Customer Service Experience;
- You Didn’t Show the Value;
- Your Business is Inconsistent;
- You Don’t Learn From Your Mistakes;
- Your Sales Tactics are Out-of-Date. (4)
