May The Bridge We Burn Light Up The Way!

May we never fall back into the same abyss

We all are with habits that once defined us,

Relationships that once chained us down.

Opinions and doctrine that limited our perception

and standards that we once thought were second to none.

But as we move through phases Of life,

We caught a glimpse of those disturbing lapses in our habits.

the toxicity in former relationships.

Disturbing flaws in our doctrine and opinions,

and the unrealistic or limiting standards we once set for ourselves.

Here comes the awakening,

The vital moment of enlightenment

And an opportunity to roll those former endeavours

And light them up in flames,

As we rise from the ashes

And leave behind the burning bridge

May we never fall back into the same abyss

But, may they act as torch that light up our way…
