Medium Earnings and Progress for May
A Summary with a bit of deep dive into article performance
Last month didn’t feel particularly monumental at the time, and really in the big scheme of things it isn’t, but I like the idea of starting the month with reflection.
This is the end of my third ‘full month’ on Medium it didn’t end quite as well as the previous month on some fronts, but I started April with a Boosted post, so it was atypical.
I won’t linger but wanted to share, ‘Practice in Public’ so to speak.

Followers and Subscribers
I started the month pretty strong with a bit fewer than 1100 Followers, managing to grow by 525 across the month. I went from 18 Subscribers to 40. It’s a process, for sure.
I’m glad to continue to grow and glad to have you, the viewer, here along with me on this ride. I think I’m starting to figure myself out.
Views and Reads
I had almost as many views as I have Viewers, and a bit over a 50% Read rate. I had 2 stories go live on May 22nd and 3 go live on May 23rd, the more NEW stuff I have to read on a day, the better.
