Medium has announced to update its Partner Program Policy and the metrics for your earnings.

It is long-awaited news for many of us. As we all want to earn some extra bucks and if we get those by the thing we love doing there is no better feeling.

There are several changes that Medium is about to bring few important ones are mentioned below.

• Medium is opening the partner program for 12 additional countries including India and plans to expand to another 50-something.
• The prerequisite for joining Medium Partner Program will not be 100 followers but just the Medium membership.
• The focus will be more on the quality of your writing now and the earnings will also be based on meaningful metrics.

This will definitely give a boost to many writers who were not so consistent and motivated to share their experiences.

The changes will be effective from August 1, 2023.
