Memories
A free-verse poem on meditating by the sea.
Ribbons of colors wrap around
or untie, feeble and faint, flying and
flowing.
On the waves of the sea, their
reflections emerge and roll
from the dark and
deep water when it shares
evanescent colored visions
that, absorbed, I stay
staring.
The meantime of a fading moment,
and their memory plunges and
sinks
in the liquid and profound blue
of intermittent flashes,
ephemeral like
their sudden
echo
gasping in my head,
as I press it to
recall.
Thank you for reading my poem!
