Microplastics Menance
Mocroplastic is inflitrating everywhere including our brain
There is no doubt that the introduction of plastics has tremendously make our everyday life a lot easier. Take for instance, how easy it is to just pour boiling water on a tea bag to make our daily cuppa, instead of tea leaves in a tea pot, and wait a while for it to seep before drinking.
This ease is the reason most of us use plastic in our house, and believe it or not, it is causing serious menance to our health. Microplastics are now part of everyday living, ranging from the animals in the ocean to our soil, to them being present in our vegetables and fruits.
What are microplastics?
Microplastics are breakdown of larger plastics we use everyday into tiny fragments (like particles or dust), and are found everywhere. Microplastics are found in personal care products, some clothing fibres, water bottles and food packages and much more.
These minuscles of plastics are now part of our everyday consumption, which are very scary, as we tend to consume them a lot more than we are ready to admit.
