Nigeria is going through a tough time currently, and many citizens are leaving for greener pastures in the West or other African countries that can provide them with their desired comfort. Many industries are short-staffed, especially the health sector.
I stumbled upon some young stars who were discussing the issue among themselves, and I had to sit down with them to listen and learn.
In their conversation, one of them, called James (not his real name), said that Africans are black people, so also is their thinking and way of life. Everything about us is black and dark, so we’re not progressing. But the whites are good, and their mindset and belief system are superior to ours, and that’s why they are making headway far better than we Africans.
While the rest of the young stars seemed to agree with James’ claim, one of them, called Tom (not his real name), countered him and said no, the Africans are good people, but the whites are wicked and selfish.
