Happy Mother’s Day 2023!

Reasons may vary in every circumstance,
But there’s one common nuance
that sets the level of significance.
To value or not, is subjective.
To view it your own way, is perspective.
What do you see in the Moon?
A man, a woman, a rabbit or a toad?
Or perhaps, you only see the gorgeous glowing glory?
An epitome of perfect imperfection,
Illuminating, covered in millions of craters.
Illustrating that imperfections don’t mean ugly.
Mothers are perhaps earthly Moons.
Spreading light through discomfort.
Nurturing offspring through misery.
Not perfect yet supreme.
Not loud yet significant.
Mothers! Oh Dear Mothers!
We neither see a man or a woman.
We neither see a toad or a rabbit.
We just see the pure light
and the unconditional love.
Embodied in you, that emits from you!
A warrior, a teacher, a juggler, a caregiver.
We call, Mom!
Moon
Or
Mother?
