INTRODUCTION
This is a hypothetical debate between a Muslim and an Atheist to demonstrate, compare and evaluate the arguments on the Theory of Evolution, focusing on Genetic Evidence.

Debate topic:
Can genetic similarities between different species be accepted as evidence for the Theory of Evolution?

Muslim:
Atheists often claim that evolution explains the complexity of life and the origin of species. But when we ask for empirical evidence — observable, repeatable, and experimentally verified data supporting this idea — we don’t receive clear answers. Instead, we’re often told that, for example, genetic similarities between species are evidence for evolution. So, I must ask: how does the presence of genetic similarities prove the evolutionary explanation?

Atheist:
Genetic similarities are indeed a significant piece of evidence for evolution. The reasoning is as follows:

Premise: If evolution is true, then we expect genetic similarities between species.
Observation: We observe genetic similarities between species.
Conclusion: Therefore, evolution is true.
