Sprucing up my yard:

I love transforming my yard by adding new shrubs and plants! Three weeks ago, I planted three young Red Dynamo Photinia shrubs in the side corner of my lawn. These vibrant additions have elevated the look of my all-green lawn, and I can’t wait to see them flourish!

Leaf spots!

Today, to my great disappointment, I discovered rust-like spots on some of the shrubs’ leaves when examining them.

Getting Advice:

I took some leaves from my shrub to a local garden center to find out why they were discolored and how to prevent the shrub from dying. I was informed that it was due to a fungus and was advised to use the antifungal chemical sprays available in the store.

After reading the fine print on the container, I noted that its contents may be harmful to pets, so I decided to get another opinion.
