My Ghostwritten Blogs Trend SERP Page One: Here’s My Template

It’s not rocket science…but it does take experience and consistency.

I began writing SEO blogs and articles over five years ago. But it wasn’t until the past two years that my work began ranking on Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs). As a professional freelance content writer, there’s no rush like seeing your work ranking in the first few positions on a SERP.

I use virtually the same template and techniques for each piece I write. I often write within an SEO tool such as Surfer or Neuronwriter, but I always follow a general template. Today, I’m sharing my SERP-winning template with you.

Below I outline the SEO blog template I use, with some commentary and helpful tips.

TITLE (Include main keyword early in title.)

Begin with a brief opening. 1–2 short paragraphs that introduce the topic of the post . Include thefollowing:

  • The main keyword you are targeting
  • At least 1 supporting keyword
  • A link to your website’s main page, with one of two things as the anchor text for that link:
