My Journey of 30 Days on Medium, Publishing 26 Articles and Gaining 67 Followers: Lessons I Learned

As a writer, I’ve always been fascinated by the power of Medium. So, I decided to challenge myself by publishing 26 articles in 30 days and see where it takes me. It was an exciting journey that taught me some valuable lessons.
I learned that consistency is key
Writing and publishing an article every day for 30 days was not an easy task. It required a lot of discipline and commitment. But the more I wrote, the easier it became. And as I continued to publish, I started to see an increase in my followers.
Engagement matters.
It’s not enough to just publish articles on Medium. You have to engage with your audience too. Responding to comments, asking for feedback, and participating in Medium publications and communities are all great ways to connect with readers. And when you connect with readers, they are more likely to follow you.
I learned that quality is more important than quantity.
While my goal was to publish 26 articles in 30 days, I also wanted to make sure each article was well-written and provided value to readers. I spent a lot of time researching and editing each article. The articles that received the most engagement were the ones that were well-written and provided actionable advice.
Finally, I learned that success is relative.
While 67 followers may not seem like a lot, it’s everything on my side. Each new follower is a potential reader, and each reader is an opportunity to make an impact. And that’s what writing is all about — making an impact.
In conclusion, my 30 days of using Medium and publishing 26 articles taught me some valuable lessons. Consistency, engagement, quality, and perspective are all important factors in building a following on Medium. And while success may be relative, every new follower and every new reader is an opportunity to make a difference.
