I’m a full-time homeschooling mom to two children, with a part-time music job and a writing side hustle.

How do I find time for everything? You may wonder how I juggle teaching, work, parenting, and everything else in my life and still manage to write.

Before you roll up your eyes and wonder how I do it all, let me tell you there’s no special secret.

Truth be told, it’s not easy. And it never has been.

If there’s one thing I do that helps me stay consistent with writing, it’s prioritizing it. If you don’t make writing a priority, then it’ll always be like an optional thing on your to-do list, and you’ll give yourself lots of excuses not to do it when your life throws you curveballs.

If you’re serious about writing, then you must treat it as such. You have to treat it as business or your day job and show up every day. Or at least every other day. That means even if there’s no boss is hovering over your shoulder, and the only accountability partner you have is you.
