NBC isn’t the only news outlet picking up on the social impact of Netflix’s new short series Baby Reindeer. The show is inarguably one of the most impactful and haunting depictions of human pain that we’ve seen grace the screen in years.

I said what I said.

And now I’ll say this: Baby Reindeer is set to sweep the awards. All of them.

Ask any cultural critic, psychologist, therapist, actor, artist, or the Joe sitting next to you at the coffee shop — the show is filmmaking perfection, from the spectacular acting to the heart-breaking story, to the conversation-stirring themes.

If I’m wrong about this…I’ll eat my words next year.

‘Baby Reindeer’ Awards Deserved

While Queer Eye and BEEF are currently dominating the awards scene for Netflix, my prediction is that Baby Reindeer will do that next year. Here’s why you need to set aside a weekend, watch the show, and have support lined up for afterward.
